ATTACHING WATER TANK TO AN OVERLANDER OR SQUATTER FRONT SLIDE
- Ensure that the power lead for the Overlander or Squatter kitchen light is plugged into the Anderson plug at the rear of the kitchen before you start. (If the kitchen is already attached to the runners)
- Find the 6 @ M6 x 14 attachment bolts and nuts in the attachment kit and lubricate the bolts with WD 40 or similar.
- Remove the travel lock brackets from the front of the slide if fitted and replace the nuts and tighten. No clearance for the travel lock with the water tank fitted.
- Undo the hose that attaches to the outlet at the bottom in the centre of the water tank.
- Undo the tightening bolts on the tank straps and remove the straps from the bracket.
- Pryse the water tank out of the bracket and set aside.
- Move the slide to the open position. Allow it to be locked in the open position.
- Carefully lift the bracket between the runners with the faucet on the left side of the runner. (best done with 2 people)
- Align the rear hole in the top row of attachment holes on the side of the bracket with the last hole (at the back) in the runner.
- Place 1 of the M6 x 14 Bolts in the rear hole on each side. Add a flat washer and a nut and run the nut in but don’t fully tighten.
- Then put the other 2 bolts in each side and tighten all three nuts and bolts using the Alen key provided.
- Replace the water tank in the bracket, tighten the straps and re-attach the water hose.
- Attach the wire to the water pump with the SAE plug and connect to fused power through the switch to 12 Volts DC.
- Always turn the switch off when not using the water system to take the load off the pump.
