How To attach a Longhaul Camp Kitchen to a Low-Profile Front Opening Slide.
- Remove the 3 attachment bolts from each side of the Longhaul Camp Kitchen using the 4mm Alen key provided. Lubricate the bolts with WD 40 or similar lubricant. Set aside within easy reach of the kitchen.
- Cut a piece of 3mm thick cardboard scrap or Core Flute to the shape and size of the inside base of the Front Opening Slide and lay it on the floor of the slide. This prevents the kitchen from scratching the slide during assembly.
- Using 2 people lift the kitchen gently between the Runners of the slide and maneuver it into the slide about ¾ of the length of the kitchen, until it will sit there without overbalancing. Be careful not to scratch the sides of the kitchen on the runners.
- Dis-engage the locking slides one at a time and pull them out until the first round hole in the runner aligns with the front attachment hole on the side of the kitchen.
- Place one bolt on each side and screw them all the way in, but not tight.
- Pull the kitchen out a little until the second hole is clear of the slide and lift the kitchen slightly at the back to align the holes and fit the second bolts. Screw them all the way in, but not tight.
- The runners will need to be maneuvered to expose the back holes using the blue locking levers to release the mechanism.
- Fit the back bolt each side and do up until tight.
- Once all the bolts are in, tighten using the Allen key provided.
