First let’s Check for blockages.
- Disconnect your water in and outlet connections from your pump and place the inlet side of your pump in your water source and turn on your pump.
If water is coming out of the pump your blockage lies within your hose. - If you are receiving a little bit of water through your pump there is a blockage somewhere inside your pump. This can happen if you are pumping from a bucket or source where debris may have been caught.
If water is NOT coming our of your pump and you have confirmed NO blockages with the above steps – please proceed with the step below.
- Your diaphragm may be dry. You will simply need to relubricate the diaphragm by turning the pump on and connecting mains water pressure into the water Inlet (Garden Hose or Tap) to push water through the pump. This will relubricate the diaphragm in the head of the pump and the pump will kick back in.
