FAQ: I can hear the pump, but NO water is pumping?
First let's Check for blockages.
- Check the pump in and out for red caps. If these are still inside, please remove, reattach fittings and try again.
- Disconnect your water inlet and outlet connections from your pump and place the inlet barb of your pump in your water source and turn on your pump.
If water is coming out of the pump your blockage lies within your hose. - If you are receiving only a little bit of water through your pump there is a blockage somewhere inside your pump. This can happen if you are pumping from a bucket or source where debris may have been caught.
If water is NOT coming our of your pump and you have confirmed NO blockages with the above steps - please proceed with the step below.
- Your diaphragm may be dry. You will simply need to re-lubricate the diaphragm by turning the pump on and connecting a mains water pressure into the water Inlet and push water through the pump. This will re-lubricate the diaphragm in the head of the pump and the pump will kick back in.
